Survey Says...I'm Annoying!

Poll finds most annoying word — ‘whatever’

So, you know, it is what it is, but Americans are totally annoyed by the use of "whatever" in conversations.

The popular slacker term of indifference was found "most annoying in conversation" by 47 percent of Americans surveyed in a Marist College poll released Wednesday.
"Whatever" easily beat out "you know," which especially grated a quarter of respondents. The other annoying contenders were "anyway" (at 7 percent), "it is what it is" (11 percent) and "at the end of the day" (2 percent).

For the full story, go here.

Um, I say each and every one of these words/phrases ON A REGULAR BASIS.

95% of my vocabulary consists of the bolded words!

Sometimes, I use two or more of these words in the SAME SENTENCE

I think it's time for a bit of revamping...You Know?

Whatever.

"It is what it is" makes me BATSHIT because I heard it come out of too many Mangan mouths too many times.

"Anyway" should also be on the list. It completely and succinctly says, "what i just said was not worth listening to, feel free to disregard everything i just bothered to say."

Y'know?
