For Today...04/06/201

*I got this idea from another blog. Thought it'd be a good way to get back in the game. Sorry for such a looooooong absence. Life's been...busy? Ya, I'm gonna go with that.*

Outside my window...Gloomy and chilly. Not happy about it, especially since I told a friend I’d run outside with her tonight.

I am thankful for... all of my family members having jobs they really enjoy :)

From the kitchen... Thank GOODNESS I got the fish from last night’s dinner scraped off of that baking sheet. Too bad I left a bunch of other dirty dishes in the sink. Oh well, can’t win ‘em all.

I am wearing...brown pants and a really, really bright snazzy scoop neck shirt. It’s springtime, peeps!!

I am creating...a koozie design for Mustaches 4 Kids Omaha. It’s Mustache Time!

I am reading... Name All the Animals by Allison Smith – only 20 pages in. Jury’s still out.

I am hoping... this sunburn/peeling on my face goes away before I renew my license next week. The old picture isn’t great, and I don’t want to be stuck with another crappy one!

I am hearing... the sweet sounds of the Brandi Carlile station on Pandora. TGFH (Thank God For Headphones).

Around the house... yard work is on my mind. PUKE. I hope the fat squirrels leave me alone, the possums lurking in the bushes stay there, and that I don’t run into any garter snakes. I'm already changing my mind.

One of my favorite things... Prescription-strength Allegra. Enough said.
