Busy weekend ahead!!

Just wanted to write a little something before the weekend starts. As usual, it's going to be a busy one and I probably won't have much time to write...and I wanted to get a couple of things down on paper!



First, Happy Golden Birthday to my very cute, very stylish, bug lovin' little nephew!



He's such a nice little boy, and very smart! (Amazing how good qualities run in the family!) Here are some favorite Carter-isms or sayings of mine:
"Ant Ba-ra-ree is a-wer-gic to pick-o's. She TOLD ME." (Translation: "Aunt Valerie is allergic to pickles. She told me!")
"Just a YE-O bit" (Translation: "Just a little bit.")
"Will you come wook for bugs wiff me?"
"Ant Ba-ra-ree, YOU'RE HOT!!" (What a great kid!)
He loves to take pictures with my camera. A couple of my favorites:

Secondly, "the race" is happening in approximately 40 hours! (Not that I'm counting or anything!) I want to say thanks in advance to everyone that's encouraged me throughout this process! It's been interesting to say the least, and I'm actually looking forward to it! I really thought about attempting this at the finish line...

...but chances are, I won't be able to exert that much energy...we'll see.

You never know, I could meet the Love of my Life there...I picture him to look something like this: That's HOT!
