Arts & Crafts Time!!

Some of you may know that I became a "Stamper" a few years ago, thanks to my former co-worker Cindy. Since then, I've done my best to make cards for different events (birthdays, showers, etc.) and I thought I'd share a few of them with you today. I get alot of my ideas off of this website: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ --it's great...people WAY craftier than I am, posting their creations on a website so that other people (like me) can look at them and get ideas for projects. Brilliant!

Here are a few of mine:

I made this one for my boss for Boss's Day (tomorrow). I do appreciate who she is...as I really do like her, but I'm also hoping she understands this is more cheesy than I am normally, so she'll get a little laugh out of it. I also got her some jumbo straws (Thank you, Bucky's!) because she has a GIGANTOR water bottle and her normal straws don't go all the way to the bottom. Don't YOU want to be my boss?!

This is for my Mother's Birthday (coming in November). Sorry if I ruined it Mom...I think it will look better in person:)
This was an invitation I made for my BFF's baby shower in April. It fit her personality, and wasn't overly feminine, which I think she appreciated. The inside was the information printed out on white card stock, and then "You're Invited!" stamped above it.

And because I don't have my office/craft room/closet set up quite yet (maybe by this time next year?), THIS is how my house looks after I do one, maybe two cards.

Next up...Thanksgiving place cards and Christmas Cards! I'll post those when I get those finished!
